Description
Hi everyone, I’m Iggi! I might be a small bunny, but I have a big personality and a whole lot of curiosity. I’m a sleek black-and-white cutie, and while I can be a bit cautious at first, I'm a total roamer who loves to explore! I need minimal supervision when my space is safely bunny-proofed, and I’m completely fine with a flexible daily routine. I'm also deeply bonded to my best friend, Lihn—we are a package deal, so we must be adopted together! When I'm out and about, you'll often find me playing with toys I can toss around, or checking things out because I'm super curious. If another animal gets a little too close for comfort, I'm totally okay giving a polite sniff, though I won't hesitate to use my front paws to set some boundaries if they crowd me! My litter box habits are pretty standard for a bunny, meaning I have the occasional little miss here and there. When it comes to my human friends, I can be a bit of a mixed bag. I definitely sprint the second I hear the word "treat," and sometimes I really enjoy getting gentle pets. One of my favorite ways to show affection is by trying to sneak in a sweet little leg lick, and I am an absolute sucker for some good nose rubs! My grooming needs are totally normal, and Lihn and I love to groom each other to keep our coats looking top-notch. Let's talk about my favorite subject: food! I have a healthy appetite and enjoy eating Purina rabbit food along with my absolute favorite, Oxbow Timothy Hay. I'm also a big fan of Oxbow brand baked treats, fresh romaine lettuce, and mixed greens. And of course, if you happen to offer me a slice of carrot, banana, or apple, we are going to be instant best friends! Are you ready to welcome sweet little Lihn and me into your heart and home? *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Female (Spayed) Approximate birthdate: 8/1/2019 Approximate weight: 4.5 pounds Adoption fee for Pair: $160.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
