Description
Hi there! I'm Lihn. Don't let my sleek black coat, white nose stripe, and stunning blue eyes fool you—I’m a girl of mystery, independence, and very high culinary standards. I might be a little shy, skittish, and not all that interested in being petted by humans, but my heart belongs completely to my bonded partner, Iggi. We're an inseparable package deal, so we have to be adopted together! I have a medium energy level and a pretty flexible routine. You won't find me demanding your attention or acting overly needy—I am definitely not an attention-seeking bunny, and I prefer to avoid other animals altogether. In fact, I mostly just greet you when there's a treat involved! When I'm exploring, I need minimal supervision and have pretty ordinary bunny litter box habits with just the occasional miss. My favorite thing in the entire world is chewing on my hideaway box, and when I'm resting, I love to cozy up right between my cage and the blanket draped over the top. Oh, and I look extra cute when I stand super tall on my back legs to survey my kingdom! While I don't care much for human pets, I show my affectionate side by cuddling with Iggi. When it comes to dining, I am a true connoisseur of fiber. I love my hay—Oxbow timothy hay is my absolute favorite, though I also eat Purina Rabbit Complete with Oxbow on hand. I mostly stick to my hay, but I do enjoy a few greens like basil, plus the occasional special treat of carrot and banana. Are you ready to welcome a quiet, low-maintenance beauty and her best friend into your home? *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Female (spayed) Approximate birthdate: 8/1/2019 Approximate weight: 4.7 pounds Adoption fee for Pair: $160.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
