Description
Meet Dolly, a darling little girl who is a mix of Chihuahua, Shih Tzu, and Yorkie! At just 5–8 pounds and still growing, Dolly may be tiny, but she has a lot of potential to blossom with the right person by her side.Dolly is extremely shy when she first meets you and is working hard on building her confidence. She is currently in a foster home, where she is learning her housebreaking skills and working on basic obedience.Because of her small size and shy nature, a securely fenced yard is required to help keep Dolly safe. She would do best in a quiet, peaceful home with someone who is patient and willing to give her the time she needs to slowly experience and explore the world around her. With gentle encouragement and plenty of positive experiences, we hope Dolly will learn that the world isn’t such a scary place after all.Dolly would do best without small children, and having someone who is home much of the day would be wonderful for her. She is looking for a special person who will allow her to gain confidence at her own pace and celebrate each little step along the way.If you think you could be that patient and loving person for Dolly, please fill out an application. Someone from our dog department will contact you to set up a time to meet this sweet little girl.DOB: 4/28/20267 pounds and growingI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes.
