EMERGENCY INTAKE UPDATE!!! Meet Raggedy Ann, aka “Annie.” ❤️‍ Annie saw our vet yesterday, and unfortunately, this sweet baby has a long road to recovery ahead of her. She is suffering from hereditary demodectic mange, fungal and bacterial skin infections, and much of her little body is essentially one large, oozing scab. She is also emaciated and full of parasites. And yet, through all of that pain and discomfort, Annie is one of the sweetest, most grateful girls. She is only around 4 months old, which means she has likely spent most—if not all—of her very short life living in this terrible condition. Despite everything she has endured, she is so appreciative of every gentle touch, every meal, and every bit of love she receives. ❤️ Annie is now safely settled into foster care, where she is finally receiving the medical treatment, nutrition, comfort, and love she desperately needs. She has a long journey ahead, but we made her a promise: It’s ALL up from here, sweet girl.
