Are you in search of some classic Tortitude? Look no further—I’m Twixxie, and I’m ready to find my forever home! It might take me a bit to warm up, but once I do, I’ll be your little purr bug. I’ll be in your face, by your side, and always following you around. Thanks to my foster family, I’ve gained confidence and truly come into my own. I’ve also become quite the talker—you’ll hear from me at feeding time, when I want attention, and just to chat. I’m still not a fan of other kitties, and at this point, I doubt that will change. I might be okay with one other cat, but only if they respect my space and stay out of my bubble. But let’s be clear: I’m not here to be a companion for your kitty. Absolutely no dogs in my space, please—they are not my cup of tea. Things I love? You. Cat trees, soft beds, cubby holes, some toys (I can be a bit selective), and, of course, those oh-so-delicious treats! I’m a food enthusiast who adores canned food and treats—I’d do almost anything for them. I like to graze on dry food throughout the day. I’m used to older kids (12 years and up) and, while I’m definitely not a fan of dogs, I can tolerate them as long as they leave me alone. I don’t like being grabbed, having my tail pulled, or being forced to sit in anyone’s lap. I’m looking for a family with patience who isn’t gone 24/7. If you’re not into lap cats, talkative kitties in your face, or a cat who sleeps in your bed, I might not be the best fit. But if you want a loyal, independent companion with a dash of Tortitude, I’m your girl. I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested, and I’m ready to go home with you.
