Description
Twyla is a sweet, playful, 2-years-and-4-months-old cat who is looking for a loving home. This beautiful girl has an adorable head tilt, because she came to Pet Haven with a long-standing middle ear infection. Pet Haven enlisted the help of a specialist to give Twyla the best care; she had a procedure and she's ready for her next chapter. Twyla also has slight balance issues that may improve over time. This pretty lady is an affectionate girl with beautiful green eyes. She often greets her foster parents with soft meows and head butts. Chin scratches are the fastest way to her heart; she also rolls over for belly rubs. Twyla likes to be right next to her people, but she doesn't like to sit on human laps (yet). She can easily be picked up to move her or put her in a carrier.Twyla came from a home with many cats. As a result, she is timid in new situations. She got comfortable in her foster home with consistent care and gentle attention. She may need some time to warm up in her new home. Twyla could be overwhelmed by loud people or energetic children. Quiet, cat-savvy older tweens/teens would be more her speed. This lovely lady would probably enjoy cat companionship in her adoptive family. She is very interested in the various cats in her foster home. Twyla uses the litter box like a champ. She enjoys canned cat food, and crunchy Greenies treats. Twyla is an exuberant playmate. She loves when her foster parents swing a wand with a faux squirrel tail. When she plays on her own, spring toys are her favorite. Would you like to help Twyla gain confidence and trust? She’d love to join your family. There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates.Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat?
