Our listed dogs ARE READY IMMEDIATELY; we only meet with families WHO ARE READY TO ADOPT! IF YOU APPLY and if WE APPROVE YOU it means we are assuming when you meet any of our dogs and fall in love you're ready to ADOPT AND HIM OR HER HOME! Meet Adorable HEIDI! 16 weeks old • 25 pounds • German Shepherd Puppy Beautiful Heidi is a 16-week-old German Shepherd puppy weighing about 25 pounds, and she is simply adorable! While she is a German Shepherd, she is not expected to become an enormous dog — she should grow into a manageable large breed with the right family. Heidi is healthy, happy, sweet, easygoing, and ready for her forever home! She has a wonderful disposition and is at that perfect age where she can learn all the things that will help her become an amazing adult companion. Heidi was owner-surrendered to a county shelter through absolutely no fault of her own. From what we understand, she may have been bred with the intention of being sold, but for some reason that situation didn’t work out. Whatever happened before Heidi came to us, she did nothing wrong and deserves a family committed to loving her for life. ❤️ Because Heidi is a German Shepherd and will grow into a strong, active dog, we are looking for a family who understands the responsibility that comes with raising a large-breed puppy. She could do wonderfully with responsible older children who understand how to appropriately interact with and care for a large-breed dog, or with adults who have experience raising dogs. At just 16 weeks, Heidi still has so much ahead of her. With patience, consistency, training, socialization, and lots of love, this beautiful girl has every opportunity to grow into the devoted, intelligent and wonderful German Shepherd companion she was meant to be. Heidi is hoping her forever family finds her soon! Sweet • Healthy • Happy • Young • Ready to Learn ❤️ Adopt Heidi and give this beautiful girl the life she deserves! General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.
