A SUPER SWEET GUY: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 31 lbs. Hi, I'm Butters! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers, who spend time with and take great care of me—they are so much fun to hang out with! Now I hear that I'm ready to find a wonderful family of my very own, where I can love and be loved furever! I was adopted for about 10 days, but it wasn't a good match so I'm back with Mostly Mutts, looking for my people. I've been selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience off-site and am learning a lot! Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and did well with the female but not the male, so if you have a nice female dog at home already, let's meet. I can also be reactive to other dogs on walks which I'm working on with my trainers. / Cats unknown. / I think that kids 15+ would be the best fit for me as I can be mouthy/nippy when playing and was a bit too much for younger kids in my temporary adoptive home.    • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a friendly, fun, happy boy who is as sweet as can be! I'm playful, inquisitive, and full of tail wags, and the volunteers say I'm one of the happiest boys around. I was so good for my bath and even rolled around on my towel afterward to help dry myself off—why wait when you can do it yourself? I can play a bit rough but I'm working on it and I'm a very sweet, playful guy with lots of personality and love to share! / Energy level: 5-7+.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the 'sit', 'come', 'leave it' and 'drop it' commands. I also know how to accept friendly strangers without jumping on them. I'm working on my leash manners now as I can be mouthy when being leashed, I'm just so excited to go out. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I'm doing pretty well in my crate at Mostly Mutts, though sometimes I come out quickly as I'm ready to spend time with and have fun with the volunteers. I did well with my crate manners in my temp. adoptive home.  / I'm having just a few accidents on the shelter schedule and did well in my temp. adoptive home.     • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love toys and treats, and I enjoy doing lots of fun things with the nice volunteers! Going for walks is another favorite thing, and afterwards, I'm happy to slow down and cuddle with my person on the bench out front. I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we like doing together once I'm in my new home! / I can't think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I'm a wonderful guy looking for a wonderful family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
