Description
4 month old Skippy’s patchwork like white and orange tabby markings and small stature make him the cutest little guy you ever did see. His eyes have the most endearing pouty quality that only enhances his rascal like good looks. He is named after the young rabbit who idolizes Robin Hood and would do anything to be just like his hero and wow did this name theme create some magic as Skippy has all the spunk and heart that role requires! This guy has fight! He plays hard, loves hard, and flies high, literally. One of his favorite moves is what is commonly referred to as a “flying squirrel sneak attack” whether it’s going after a toy, a playmate or your face for kisses. If he wants it, he is ALL IN! He loves to use his voice to express himself and oooh it is the cutest froggy mews and the absolute best when he does it falling asleep in your arms, softer and softer till he’s zonked.Skippy hasn’t met a friend he doesn’t want to wrestle till they scream his praises at how tough he grew up to be. He would thrive in an active home with other young cats and dogs who are looking for all the adventures. He would do fantastic with a new kitten friend or either of his littermates Robin Hood or Little John but would likely overwhelm a more shy companion or older cat. He would LOVE a dog to follow and/or kids who play with all the toys but will want to know his bodily autonomy can be respected as he doesn’t like to be confined in play, snuggles or vet visits. Gentle cooperative care works wonders with him. All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. Kittens have an adoption fee of $200 each or $300 for a bonded pair. Kittens must be adopted in pairs unless there is another young, energetic cat in the home. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.
