Sparkey (NOT YET AVAILABLE)

Description

NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 10/1/2026:  Sparkey - male - 4 years old - 9.9 pounds - Shih Tzu Reason for intake:  Sparkey came to us with four other dogs.  Sadly, their owner passed away and the owner's sister has been caring for them until she could find a place for them to go.  They are all heading to the vet and groomer within the week for everything they need!  Stay tuned!  Sparkey is named because as a youngster, he chewed through an electrical cord and it gave him a pretty good shock.  We were told from that point forward he does a little flinching every now and then.  It's possible he could be having small seizures.  We're not sure... but we'll observe. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
