Pup (A143596) is a 1-year-old Alaskan malamute x Greenland husky mix who weighed over 60 lbs at intake!09/26/26 This super sweet and well-meaning guy is Pup! Pup was brought to the shelter because he was a little too sensitive to be a sled dog. Pup found the dog yard and general chaos of mushing overwhelming and a bit scary. He was said to do well with humans of all ages, though he can be nervous around strangers. He was also said to do well with other dogs, and he may do great as a skijor buddy! He is not used to living indoors, so he will need help with his manners and his potty training. He was said to be kennel trained and housebroken and to ride well in the car. He does not have experience with other animals, such as cats, livestock, or small critters. Pup is a gentle soul that was made for the indoor life.
