Meet Tulip! Tulip is a 4 year old, 8 lb. chihuahua/Papillion mix. She is one of the gentlest, sweetest little dogs you'll ever meet. She can be a little shy and nervous at first, but warms up quickly and absolutely loves people. She is quiet as a church mouse-she doesn't bark at other dogs, the door, or pretty much anything! She's a true cuddle bug who would much rather be in your lap giving kisses than playing with toys or running around. She loves treats, walks beautifully on leash, and is perfectly happy relaxing by your side. Tulip currently lives with three cats and mostly ignores them. She is generally indifferent to other dogs, although she can be nervous around dogs that are very energetic or hyper and would likely do best with a calm canine companion, if any. She's comfortable being left alone and sleeps quietly in her crate all night if that’s what you prefer, but as always she’d be happiest next to you. She is doing very well with her potty training lately and but is still working on being completely reliable, so patience and consistency are important. Her ideal home would be a quiet, peaceful place with a little yard to sniff around in and, most importantly, someone who wants a loving little shadow and professional full-time cuddler. Tulip is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.  Her adoption fee is $300.
