Description
This loving 10 year old senior girl was found wandering in our neighborhood park. We could tell she was lost because she repeatedly paced along our wall while we were outside. She was clearly friendly, but too frightened to approach us, so we began feeding her. She is microchipped, but unfortunately, her registered owner has not responded to the microchip company’s attempts to make contact. While she was outside, she got along well with a male feral cat but did not get along with the neighbor’s female cat. We brought her safely inside in June, and she has been living in our guest bedroom ever since. She is an incredibly sweet girl who would love nothing more than a warm lap to curl up on. She enjoys being petted and getting plenty of scritches, and she especially loves playing with wand toys. She doesn’t enjoy being picked up, but she is very affectionate on her own terms and loves being close to her person. Unfortunately, she and our two female cats do not get along, and it isn’t fair to keep her confined to the guest bedroom. We also don’t want to put her back outside, especially with winter approaching and the danger of coyotes. Because she came to us as a stray, we don’t know how she does with children or dogs. What we do know is that she is a loving senior who deserves a safe, warm home where she can spend her days being spoiled and enjoying the companionship she so clearly wants. She is an indoor only house cat and her rehoming fee is $$35 For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
