Ty

Description

UPDATE!!✨ TINY TY IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER FAMILY! Meet Ty! This adorable little guy and his siblings were recently saved from a local overcrowded shelter and are now safely settling into foster care. We’ll be sharing updated pictures and more information as their personalities start to shine! What we know so far is that Ty is absolutely precious! He is an adorable terrier mix who is currently 8 weeks old and only 2–2.5 lbs. Based on his current size, we believe he will likely grow into a small to medium-sized adult, although adult size can never be guaranteed with mixed-breed puppies. Ty is already showing us that he’s a spunky, playful little pup who is ready to start enjoying everything puppy life has to offer! Ty will be ready to head to his forever home in approximately two weeks, after receiving his second round of vaccines and being altered. We are accepting applications NOW and can reserve him for the approved family we feel is the perfect match! Could Ty be the missing little piece of your family? Get your application in now! Our adoptions are NOT first come, first served, and there is NO fee to apply! Our goal is always to find the best possible match for each animal. We never state that any animal is fully house-trained. New environments, situations, families, and routines can lead to accidents, even with the most well-trained animals. ADOPTION FEE & VETTING All dogs have a $195 adoption fee, which includes a vet check, age-appropriate vaccines (at least 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test if over 6 months old, rabies vaccine if at least 16 weeks old, and spay/neuter. Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential to our rescue efforts and is a policy we will continue to follow. All healthy, adoptable dogs over 8 weeks old and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this policy. We have researched pediatric spay and neuter extensively and discussed it in depth with multiple veterinarians. From a rescue standpoint, it is necessary. Please do not ask for an extension on spay/neuter, as one will NOT be granted for a healthy puppy. RESERVING A PUPPY Puppies and dogs that are not yet available for adoption because their vetting is incomplete may be reserved with an approved application and a non-refundable $50 deposit. Deposits may ONLY be submitted after Wags and Whiskers has contacted you regarding your approval and specifically requested the deposit. Please do not send a deposit unless instructed to do so. The $50 deposit is applied toward the adoption fee, leaving a remaining balance of $145 due at pickup. ❤️ PLEASE REMEMBER Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Our volunteers have jobs, families, personal pets, foster animals, and many rescue responsibilities, so please allow us time to respond to all inquiries and applications. We truly appreciate your patience and support! ✨ ADOPTION APPLICATION LINK IN BIO! ✨ Apply here: https://form.jotform.us/70898112177159 Help us find tiny Ty the forever family he deserves!
