Tiffin

Description

UPDATE!!✨ MEET TIFFIN — 2 POUNDS OF PUPPY PERSONALITY! Tiny but mighty, Tiffin is already showing us that you don’t have to be big to have a big personality! This 8-week-old terrier mix weighs just 2–2.5 lbs. and is a spunky, playful little guy who is ready to trade shelter life for all the fun, love and adventures that come with having a family of his own. Tiffin and his siblings were saved from a local overcrowded shelter and are now getting settled into foster care. We’ll have updated pictures and more details about their personalities soon! Based on his current size, we believe Tiffin will likely be a small to medium-sized adult, although adult size can never be guaranteed with mixed-breed puppies. He will be ready to head home in approximately two weeks, after receiving his second round of vaccines and being altered. We are accepting applications NOW and will be reserving him for the approved family we feel is his perfect forever match! If you’ve been waiting for a little pup with a lot of personality, Tiffin might just be your guy! Our adoptions are NOT first come, first served, and there is NO fee to apply! Our goal is always to find the best possible match for each animal. We never state that any animal is fully house-trained. New environments, situations, families and routines can lead to accidents, even with the most well-trained animals. ADOPTION FEE & VETTING All dogs have a $195 adoption fee, which includes a vet check, age-appropriate vaccines (at least 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test if over 6 months old, rabies vaccine if at least 16 weeks old, and spay/neuter. Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential to our rescue efforts and is a policy we will continue to follow. All healthy, adoptable dogs over 8 weeks old and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this policy. We have researched pediatric spay and neuter extensively and discussed it in depth with multiple veterinarians. From a rescue standpoint, it is necessary. Please do not ask for an extension on spay/neuter, as one will NOT be granted for a healthy puppy. RESERVING A PUPPY Puppies and dogs that are not yet available for adoption because their vetting is incomplete may be reserved with an approved application and a non-refundable $50 deposit. Deposits may ONLY be submitted after Wags and Whiskers has contacted you regarding your approval and specifically requested the deposit. Please do not send a deposit unless instructed to do so. The $50 deposit is applied toward the adoption fee, leaving a remaining balance of $145 due at pickup. ❤️ PLEASE REMEMBER Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow our volunteers time to respond to all inquiries and applications. We truly appreciate your patience and support! ✨ ADOPTION APPLICATION LINK IN BIO! ✨ Apply here: https://form.jotform.us/70898112177159 Share Tiffin and help us find the family ready for 2 pounds of puppy and a lifetime of love!
