PRECIOUS

Description

Don't let her age fool you! Precious may be a senior lady, but she is spry, sweet, and silly. Precious is a wonderful mix of independent and social. She is currently enjoying life as a staff office cat (and sitting on her human officemate's lap helping to write her own profile!). She will nap independently at the top of the bookcase, but loves to hop down and meet people when they come to say hi. Office work is periodically put on pause so that Precious can enjoy being pet, purring, and head butting. Precious is currently in great health and has had a senior bloodwork panel. A veterinary relationship to ensure she continues to age gracefully will be important and the vet team has indicated it will be important to keep an eye on her thyroid levels moving forward. Precious previously lived in an adult only home, but with her easy, loving personality we believe she would be well suited for homes with respectful humans ages 10 and up. She did not previously live with other cats or dogs so we are unsure of how she would do, but would be happy to talk about individual situations and discuss appropriate introductions with other potential housemates.
