Description

Meet Dew! Dew is a 14‑year‑old grey and white sweetheart who came to us as one of the oldest members of a large group of cats whose owner could no longer care for them. Despite being the senior of the bunch, Dew is easily one of the cuddliest. He has that special kind of older‑cat softness — calm, affectionate, and endlessly grateful for every bit of love he receives.Dew may be in need of a little pampering, but he has an incredible amount of love to give in return. He enjoys gentle pets, warm laps, and quiet companionship, and he settles in quickly with anyone who shows him kindness. His mellow nature makes him a comforting presence, and he’s the type of cat who seems to understand when someone needs a little extra affection. He has been wonderful with other cats and kids, and he has not had any negative reactions to dogs. Dew’s easygoing personality makes him a great fit for a peaceful home that appreciates the charm and devotion of a senior cat.If you’re looking for a loving, gentle companion who still has so much warmth to share, Dew is ready to spend his golden years with a family who will cherish him.Dew's adoption fee is $50, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! We welcome adopters from out of state to apply! _When it comes to our pets, we're all-inclusive!
