Meet Rebel She’s been through heartbreak. Now she’s waiting for someone to show her what forever feels like. Rebel didn’t ask for her world to change.After her owner tragically died by suicide, Rebel and her housemates suddenly found themselves without the person and home they knew. Understandably scared and confused, Rebel needed something simple but incredibly important: time, patience, and a safe place to feel secure again.And little by little, she’s finding her way. We don’t know much about Rebel’s past, but we know what we see today: a gentle, incredibly sweet girl with a heart worth waiting for. She’s cautious with new people and unfamiliar surroundings, but once she decides you’re safe, her personality comes shining through. Her foster mom is completely smitten—and honestly, we can’t blame her. ❤️ Rebel is a quiet girl who doesn’t ask for much. She likes to take life at her own pace, cautiously exploring when she’s ready and happily accepting head and chin scritches once she’s comfortable. And if you happen to have Churu treats? Well… Rebel has been known to temporarily suspend her dignity for those. But there is one thing Rebel loves above almost everything else: Her butterfly. She is OBSESSED. She’ll sit and watch that little butterfly circle around and around, happily swatting at it until the battery finally gives up. She’ll pause for pets. She’ll pause for snacks. And then? Right back to the butterfly. It’s one of the sweetest little glimpses into the playful, happy girl hiding beneath her cautious exterior. Rebel currently shares her foster home with several cats and kittens and three dogs, and she does okay with them. But this sweet girl has made it clear that she’d much rather have a peaceful, predictable home than a busy, chaotic one. Her dream home would be quiet and patient, with no young children (or older, respectful kids) and either no other pets or calm, easygoing cats or dogs. We estimate she is around 2 years old. She has already survived a heartbreaking change she never should have had to endure. Now, she deserves the happiest part of her story. A soft place to land. A person who will be patient. A home where she can finally exhale. Rebel may not hand you her heart on day one.But give her time. Earn her trust. And one day, you may look over and realize that this once-scared little girl has decided you are home. Rebel is ready for her forever.
