Toastie

Description

Meet Toastie!  Toastie is a very special girl who has faced more sadness in her short life than any dog should have to face. When she was brought into rescue, she only weighed 24 lbs. She was a skeleton...you could see every vertebrate, every rib, hip bones, her skull bones....we didn't know if she would make it. Her parasitic load was high and she was covered in fleas. Sweet Toastie was just a shell of a dog.  Her eyes told us right away she wasn't done fighting. From day one she was thankful for the help and displayed it with many tail wags, kisses, and a lean against our legs to tell us she trusted us. Toastie is still working on gaining weight but now that she's gained over 10 pounds, she's showing us her most silly self.  Toastie has never met a human or dog she didn't like. She's SO friendly and playful. From puppies to grumpy senior dogs, little Toast has been welcoming and gentle. If you have a dog that likes to play rough and wrestle, she likes that too! She is crate trained and potty trained, great in the car, and is down to live life with you!    She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and current with all vaccines (as appropriate for her age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Toastie is currently being fostered in South Carolina.   ADOPT TOASTIE!! www.LuckyPupRescueSC.com The adoption fee is $375.00 and we require a vet check and home visit.
