Description

Ready for some hot Cocoa? Cocoa may not know exactly where he came from, but he knows where he wants to go: straight into the heart of a loving family. Cocoa is a handsome brown mixed-breed boy, about 5–6 years old and just 11 pounds. His background is a mystery. He was found in a remote wooded area, possibly abandoned and possibly from a hoarding situation. Whatever happened in his past, Cocoa is now learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family. He’s still figuring out this whole house-dog thing, but he’s making wonderful progress. Cocoa is on his way to being housebroken and crate-trained, and he’s discovering that living in a home can be pretty wonderful. Cocoa is good with other dogs and kids, and he is grateful for any friendly hand that reaches out to him. He has not yet been tested with cats. Cocoa may have a sad history, but he hasn’t let his past shade his future. He is eager to become someone’s beloved companion, and this little guy has an awful lot of love to give in return. Cocoa is coming to New Jersey on October 4, and he’ll be ready to start the next chapter of his life — hopefully as someone’s cherished best friend.
