Meet Jersey! Jersey is an approximately six-months-old male Chihuahua mix puppy with the cutest black and white spots, weighing around six-pounds. Jersey and his sister (also adoptable!) were surrendered to the shelter when their family had an accidental litter of pups. Chi Town is helping get mama spayed and took in the two puppies to help them find forever homes. Jersey is a happy and active little guy. He loves to be on the go and is starting to discover all about toys! Jersey is social with other dogs and loves to run and play. He is a bit shy when meeting new people and may avoid strangers. If you get down on his level though, and let him come to you, he enjoys lap time and pets.  Puppies become adult dogs and are meant to be loved for their whole life, not just until they grow up. Puppies will need lots of patience to help them learn their best doggy manners, leash-training, and house-training.  Jersey's adoption fee is $500 and includes vaccinations, microchip, and eventual alter surgery at the PAWS clinic on Cave Creek Road in Phoenix. Jersey has had his first set of vaccines and is due for his next set and neuter in two weeks. We are open to him going to a home now, provided his adopters agree to keep Jersey from public spaces (no dog parks yet!) until he is fully vaccinated.
