Meet Jack! This handsome 10-year-old Heeler mix came to Safe Haven as an owner surrender through no fault of his own, and he arrived with his best friend and brother, Hunter. These two have been together their entire lives, with Jack being by Hunter’s side since Hunter was just a puppy. They share an incredibly special bond and truly are best friends, which is why our ideal home for Jack and Hunter would be one where they can stay together. At 10 years old, Jack is entering his senior years, and having his lifelong companion by his side could make this big transition a little easier. We would love to see these boys find a family who will welcome them both and let them enjoy their next chapter together. That said, we understand that finding the perfect home for two dogs can be challenging, so if two separate, equally wonderful families come forward who are the right fit for each dog, we are open to considering separate adoptions. Our priority is making sure both Jack and Hunter find loving, committed forever homes where they can feel safe, loved, and cherished. Jack has spent his whole life with his best friend—now he’s hoping they can spend their golden years together, too.
