Roger- Also Back from Foster and Ready for Forever!Coming back from the same foster as his sibling-Remi, Roger is looking to find forever and the family who will love him as his foster family did! Roger is available when we open for adoption tomorrow (9/30/26) at 12pm! This is what his foster shared about him: “Just like Remi, Roger came to us needing some extra love, to work on his fears. Roger was extremely shut down, but he quickly found comfort in the environment at our house. Roger is much more cautious but so brave. If you physically get down to his level and be patient, he will give you all his love. He goes potty great outside, but was still having occasional accidents. He loves water! And he gets along great with our dog – he even fell in love with one particular kitty in the house! They found mutual respect for each other very quickly! Roger is ‘smart as a whip’, I think he understands more than we would think! Like Remi, Roger has done great with both the liveliness of our home, as well as the calm times. He also is not a fan of his leash yet, but he does great listening and walking next to his human while leashed to get used to it. Once you get past the initial fearful side, this pup is incredible and loving and so eager to please.”If you have puppy patience and forever to give him with all the love he can stand, come and meet him when we open for adoption tomorrow! We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children before adoption to ensure a great fit for all! We are a first come, first served and in person adoption center and are located at 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville, NC and are open Monday-Friday 12-5pm and Saturdays 11am-2pm. Make sure forever is a promise you can keep BEFORE you adopt!
