Annabelle is a precious 10-year-old Mini Dachshund with so much love to give. Annabelle weighs 12 pounds. Annabelle is truly as sweet as they come. She is quiet and gentle, loves attention, and would happily spend her days curled up beside her person, soaking up pets and affection. She has the sweetest little personality—and while she is generally a quiet girl, she certainly finds her voice when it’s mealtime! She is wonderful with other dogs and is fine with kids. What Annabelle really dreams of is a peaceful home where she won’t be left alone for long hours. A calm, loving canine companion would be a wonderful bonus for this gentle girl. Annabelle came into rescue with her sweet friend Breanne, and these two girls are incredibly loving and special. If you have room in your heart for two, we would love to see them stay together and can offer a multi-dog adoption discount.  Annabelle recently had a much-needed dental cleaning. Sadly, because she had never had prior dental care, she lost all of her teeth. But Annabelle didn’t let that stop her! She has adjusted beautifully and eats dry food just fine. She currently enjoys a mixture of moist and dry food and has absolutely no problem enjoying mealtime.  And then there is her favorite thing of all…SNUGGLES.  Annabelle LOVES to curl up next to you and receive all the pets and love you’re willing to give. She doesn’t ask for much—just a soft place to rest, someone to love her, and the chance to spend her golden years feeling safe and cherished. There is something especially precious about giving a senior dog the loving home she deserves.
