Description
Meet Rocky! This adorable tuxedo girl has extra toes on all four paws, making her a polydactyl with some seriously impressive paws! Don’t let her pretty face fool you - Rocky can hold her own in a house full of boys! She loves chasing her foster brothers, running around, and getting into some good old-fashioned kitten roughhousing. She plays hard and crashes hard! When she’s not busy wrestling or chasing toys (the wand toy is a favorite!), she’s happy to enjoy some pets from her people. She loves to nap in the window or on the highest platform of her cat tree. She really enjoys having vertical climbing spots and loves to be up on top. At this age, she’s more of a playmate than a lap cat, but she definitely appreciates affection. Rocky gets along great with other cats and is comfortable around the dogs in her foster home, as long as they don’t try to chase her. She’s a fun, confident girl who would love a home with another playful feline friend to keep her occupied. A note about her extra toes: Polydactyl cats need regular nail trims and nail checks. Their extra toes and claws can make it easier for nails to become overgrown or grow into the paw pads, so routine nail maintenance is especially important. If you’re looking for a playful, outgoing kitten with extra-special paws, Rocky might be your girl! A note about Rocky’s adoption: Since Rocky is still too young to be spayed, her adopter will need to take her to the scheduled spay appointment when she’s old enough. Her spay is a required part of her adoption. To make sure she can return for her appointment, adopters must live within an hour’s drive of Holmdel, NJ. Adoption fee: $175 ($300 for a pair) Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
