DOBBY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Dobby         Best Guess for Breed:   Bassett Hound mix Best Guess for Age:   1 year as of Sept. 2026       SEX:    Male   Approximate Weight:   26.1 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   Shelter - Dobby needs a foster or adopter to make his way to the DC area   Dobby is Looking For:    Dobby is a one-year-old bundle of charm built low to the ground and high on personality. Our best guess is that he's a Basset Hound mix, though that eager nose and happy tail make us think a Beagle or two may have snuck into the family tree. Whatever his recipe, the result is one very lovable pup.   His tri-color coat of black, tan, and white looks like he dressed up just to meet you, and his short little legs give him a signature waddle that's impossible not to smile at. What he lacks in height he makes up for in enthusiasm. Dobby moves through the world nose-first, and every walk becomes a thrilling investigation of who, what, and when.   What My Foster Says About Me:   Coming soon!
