Dougal is a confident, people‑loving guy who thrives on attention and absolutely melts for good scratches. He walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys getting out and about with his humans. He’s a tidy gentleman, too—his kennel is always spotless, and he has excellent manners with food and treats. Because he loves being with people so much, he can be a bit stubborn when it’s time to head back into his kennel, but it comes from a place of wanting to stay close. Dougal would do best with an experienced pet owner who understands a strong, enthusiastic dog. He’d also be most comfortable in a home with older children or teens. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with charm, confidence, and a big heart, Dougal might be your perfect match.   If you are interested in adopting this dog, please complete an online application at www.cvrr.us Due to high demand  we anticipate multiple applications for each dog. Our volunteers will review each submitted application, then contact the top 3 most appropriate ones by either email or phone. Thanks for your patience.  Many of our dogs can be seen at Petsmart in Visalia every other  Saturday between 10 and 2.
