Hi there, I'm Alfie! "What's it all about, Alfie?" Well I'll tell you! I'm a 3 year old, neutered male, small-sized, brown and white tabby, domestic shorthair cat who is looking for his furever home. I'm a super sweet and loving boy who loves people. I adore cheek and chin scratches and enjoy being held close to you. One important thing to know about me that I am FIV+ (see info below) as well as being the most adorable, little tripod ever with three legs! With these things in mind, I must be an indoor cat aka just more cuddle time for us! If you think we could be a good fit, then come down to the shelter and let's get this thing going!- Alfie #IDA0994565 This cat tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).  He/she otherwise appears to be in excellent health.  Cats with FIV can usually live for many years with no medical problems.  Usually at some point however the virus will start to affect them.  The most common thing that happens is that they get sicker than a normal cat would when they get a cold or other condition.  FIV is transmitted almost exclusively via bite wounds. For this reason we recommend that this cat should be an only cat and not be allowed outdoors.  New owner should be prepared to have expenses relating to veterinary care in the future.
