Hi, hello,I’m Tula! HOW ARE YOU?! ARE YOU HERE TO LOVE ME?! I’m a 1yr old Lab mix weighing in at a mere 65lbs. I’m basically a giant puppy with a heart twice my size and absolutely ZERO understanding of personal space. Seriously, if I could crawl inside your skin just to be closer to you, I would. Hugs are kind of my thing. I also believe that laps are a universal size so I will confidently attempt to fit my entire 65lb body on yours. Will I fit? Absolutely not. Will that stop me? ABSOLUTELY NOT. I’m HANDSY. If you stop petting me, I may gently (or not-so-gently) boop you in the head with my paw to remind you that your job here is NOT finished. Consider yourself warned. I’m a happy, bouncy girl with enough enthusiasm to power a small city. Sometimes I get SO excited to see my people that I talk about it. I’m not much of a barker, but my happiness comes with its own soundtrack and score in very small whines and giggles. And while I do like to jump up to say hello, I listen really well when you tell me “no,” so I’m already working on my manners. I pancake when I think I’m in trouble so I need gentle loving correction please. I’m also a social butterfly! I get along great with other dogs and feline friendships are still a mystery. Because I’m a big, enthusiastic puppy who occasionally forgets that I have the body of a small pony, I’d probably do best with kids ages 10 and up who can handle my love-filled shenanigans. I LOVE FOOD. Treats? YES. Dinner? OBVIOUSLY. Snacks? I was born ready. I’m very food motivated so Training? Sure! Just tell me there’s a snack involved, and I’m all ears. I LOVE the outdoors! I love running around the yard, soaking up the sunshine, and occasionally just flopping down in the grass for a long afternoon nap. I take my relaxation very seriously. A fenced backyard where I can stretch my legs, play, and lounge in the sunshine is definitely on my wish list. Let’s talk about hardwood floors. they’re a work in progress because paws haven’t quite figured out how all four feet are supposed to cooperate yet.  The good news is that I’m a girl of many talents. After I’ve gotten my wiggles out, I’ll curl up on the couch with a cozy blanket and snooze the afternoon away. I actually do a pretty great job of settling in on my own. So, if you’re looking for an adventure buddy who also doubles as a couch potato, look no further! I’m a true Lab through and through. I’m goofy, affectionate, enthusiastic, food obsessed, and convinced that everyone I meet is my new best friend. I have a LOT of love to give so be ready to accept every last ounce of it! If you’ve been searching for a big, goofy, four-legged shadow who will hug you, boop you, follow you, and attempt to sit on you every chance she gets, congratulations! YOU FOUND ME! All I need now is a family with grass and a few extra-large laps but I’m not picky.
