Meet Heidi! Our best guess is that this gorgeous girl is a Shepherd/Husky mix with a touch of another medium-sized breed mixed in — and whatever the recipe, it sure made one amazing dog!   Heidi is a 1-year-old sweetheart who is affectionate, intelligent, potty trained, and eager to bond with her people. She is dog-friendly with dogs of all sizes and absolutely wonderful with kids. She bonds quickly and simply wants to be close to the people she loves.   This girl is as athletic as they come and can be a bit of an escape artist. Heidi can easily scale a 5-foot fence, so her forever family will need secure, tall fencing and a commitment to keeping this clever girl safely contained.   Heidi does have some separation anxiety, so she will do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. Another playful, confident canine companion would be a wonderful bonus, but it isn’t a deal breaker.   Her perfect family will understand that Heidi may need a little time to decompress, feel safe, and settle into her new surroundings. But once she knows she is loved and can trust her people, she gives that love right back tenfold.   Heidi is the kind of dog who wants to be your best friend, your adventure buddy, and your constant companion.
