??She walks very nicely on leash and has such a calm, sweet demeanor. She’s a little unsure in new surroundings and seems to be looking for a little extra reassurance right now. When I sat on the ground, she would come over to check in with me, although she was still a little hesitant to settle in. She did her business and then headed toward the gate, seeming to prefer the comfort of being indoors.??Inside, she took some time to explore before checking back in at the door. Tossing treats her way encouraged her to come over, and she even showed that she knows “sit”! She’ll just need a little practice learning to take treats gently. A squeaker caught her off guard and made her a bit nervous, so she chose to give it some space.??She was very sweet about accepting pets, and I loved seeing her confidence grow throughout our time together. Each time I stopped petting her, she would come back and stay just a little longer. She would come when called for the most part and clearly has a gentle, affectionate side waiting to shine.??This sweet girl seems like she just needs a little time, patience, and reassurance to feel safe and comfortable. Once she realizes she’s in a place where she can relax, I think we’ll see more and more of her lovely personality come out.
