Venom

Description

This pup will be available to meet starting on 10/3VENOM — ABSOLUTELY ZERO VENOM, APPROXIMATELY 90% EARSMeet Venom, with stunning eyes, a soft fluffy white coat, and ears that appear to have their own zip code. If you’re wondering why he looks familiar, it’s probably because this little dude looks like Bolt jumped straight out of the cartoon and landed at the shelter.Venom arrived as an unclaimed stray to a shelter in New Mexico, but he hasn’t let that slow him down. He LOVES people, loves other dogs, loves snacks, and believes every new person or puppy he meets has excellent potential to become his next best friend. He is a certified social butterfly with a huge heart, huge personality, and, once again, absolutely enormous ears. This silly boy is active, playful, and happiest when he has other puppies to romp around with. He’s learning all the fun puppy stuff, already knows how to sit for treats, and is extremely willing to continue his education as long as the snack-based compensation package remains competitive.Venom would love an active home with a yard where he can run, play, learn, and get into perfectly reasonable amounts of puppy nonsense. Dog friends would be a major bonus for this social little goofball.Venom has his entire life ahead of him. He’s ready to stop being somebody’s unclaimed stray and start growing up as somebody’s cherished dog.Huge ears. Huge heart. Huge personality. Venom is ready to grow into his forever home. Just make sure the doorway is wide enough for those earsThey were rescued from a shelter in New MexicoMeet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by using the link in their approval email.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees are non refundable once a pet is taken home.  Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up in Colorado, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances delaying pick up. Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.
