Description

Meet Bob! Breed: Domestic Short Hair (Orange Tabby)Bob is a true survivor.Last winter, Bob was the last of the "Bartlesville Three" kittens to be rescued. He spent three weeks alone during freezing temperatures and snowstorms before he was finally trapped and brought to safety. Despite such a difficult start, Bob has shown us that healing happens one small victory at a time.Bob is still a shy boy and is looking for a patient family that understands trust can't be rushed. He enjoys the comfort of his foster home's bathroom, where he spends his days lounging on his favorite cat tree and watching the world from a place where he feels safe. The best part? Bob continues to make progress every single day.He has recently started allowing his foster parents to gently pet him while he eats—a huge milestone for a kitten who once wanted nothing to do with people. He's also becoming more curious, often venturing over to quietly check on his foster parents before returning to his safe spot. It's his way of saying, "I'm interested... I'm just not quite ready yet."Bob absolutely loves other cats and has formed a special bond with another foster kitten, Willa. Her playful, outgoing personality has helped him become more confident, and the two spend their days wrestling, chasing each other, and cuddling up for naps. Having another friendly feline companion in his forever home would likely help Bob continue to blossom.Bob isn't the kind of cat who will be in your lap on day one, but if you're willing to give him the time, patience, and love he deserves, you'll have the privilege of watching a frightened kitten grow into a confident companion. Every new milestone Bob reaches is incredibly rewarding, and his future family will get to experience many more.If you believe the best relationships are built on patience and trust, Bob may just be the perfect cat for you.

Okie Pet Rescue
okiepetrescue@gmail.comokiepetrescue.org
An application must be completed and approved after a comprehensive review.
