Meet Shelly and Portland, a sweet bonded pair of 1-year-old cats looking for their forever home!Shelly is a gentle, cautious girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She may be nervous when meeting new people or entering a new environment, but with patience, consistency, and time, she becomes affectionate and playful in her own way. Shelly was born without her front left paw, but it doesn’t slow her down; in fact, she may even be the faster of the two. Once she feels comfortable, Shelly loves to explore alongside her buddy Portland, or observe the world from a cozy hiding spot or a safe perch.Portland is Shelly’s outgoing counterpart. Highly affectionate, playful, and social, his favorite place to be is right on your lap. He’ll do whatever it takes to get your attention - even if it means stretching himself across your computer.This guy is easygoing and comfortable being held and picked up. More than anything, he just wants to be close to his people. When he’s not right beside you, he loves exploring the house and chasing toys around the room.Shelly and Portland currently live in a home with 5 people. The house is located near a somewhat busy street, so they have become accustomed to the sounds of a bustling neighborhood. One roommate works from home, so Shelly and Portland have been getting some extra support and love throughout the day.Together, Shelly and Portland make a great pair. They would thrive in a loving, patient home where they can take their time adjusting to their new surroundings and continue building confidence together.
