She came from a rural, high-intake shelter with her siblings and didn’t get to experience the typical happy, social puppyhood. She wasn’t regularly around humans or children, so new people and environments can feel a bit overwhelming at first.Because of this, Lyla may take a minute or two to warm up. But once she realizes she’s safe, she blossoms quickly and becomes your best friend. She’s affectionate, loyal, and eager to please once that initial trust is built.Lyla is currently in a wonderful foster home where she’s been given the chance to truly come out of her shell, and she has come such a long way at her young age. She lives with dogs of all sizes and plays very well with them. She’s also housebroken and crate trained, which makes the transition into a new home much easier.She weighs about 45 pounds and has a truly striking look: one stunning blue eye and one warm brown eye.
