Description

This beautiful girl is sweet, fun-loving and easygoing. She likes to cuddle next to you on the couch or madly chase a toy around the room. Bootsie likes to be with you, following you from room to room. If you want to sit down and watch TV or read, she will cuddle next to you. If you want to play, she’s ready. She comes when she is called. If you talk to her, she answers with a whispered mew.   Bootsie, who is between 1 and 2 years old, is a female and orange—a somewhat rare combination. She has a white chest and paws, hence her name. Bootsie and her two kittens were found in a colony of feral cats. But all three were as friendly as can be. A rescuer picked her up and put her in a carrier—no trap needed. Although found outside, Bootsy seems content to be a house cat. She makes no attempt to go outside when the front door is opened. She weighed 7 pounds when she was found and was very hungry. Just five weeks later, she had blossomed into a 10-pound cat and not the least bit fat. Bootsy would likely make a great playmate for another cat or would be happy as an only cat.  She has had all her shots, is spayed and has been given preventive meds for fleas. She is ready for her next adventure.
