Meet Maggie! Maggie is a fun-loving ball of energy who truly enjoys life. She is 2 years old, about 55lbs and thrives on the go, whether she’s swimming, running freely in wide open spaces, or enthusiastically chasing squirrels. Maggie is happiest when she can stretch her legs and play. Because of this, she would do best with an active individual or family who can match her energy and give her plenty of opportunities to explore and exercise. Maggie has completed a 5-week board-and-train program where she learned advanced obedience skills. She knows commands such as sit, down, and can stay on place too. Like any dog, she will benefit from continued consistency and practice to keep these skills sharp and reliable. She is also trained on an invisible fence system.   Maggie is still working on a few puppy-like habits, including counter surfing and jumping up to greet people when she gets excited. With structure, patience, and continued training, she has great potential to keep improving. Maggie is being rehomed due to severe allergies developing in a member of her current family. This decision has not been made lightly, and her family is committed to finding her a loving home where she can continue to thrive.
