Meet Gomer! Big. Handsome. Goofy. Sweet. Gomer is the whole package!At about 3½ years old, Gomer is a magnificent gray Cane Corso with a handsome white chest and an even bigger personality. This big ole goofball came to us as a scared, underweight stray, and while his beginnings were tough, Gomer is showing us more and more every day what a fun, loving dog he really is.These days, Gomer is all about playtime, belly laughs, and making friends. He loves playing with other dogs and seems to genuinely enjoy having canine buddies around. He knows his sit, down, and shake, too — because underneath all that big-dog silliness is a very smart boy!Gomer's favorite hobby might just be being a giant goofball. He's the kind of dog who can look incredibly serious one minute and then do something completely ridiculous the next. He's playful, affectionate, and ready to leave his stray days behind and start the next chapter of his life with a family of his own.Because Gomer is a very large, strong dog, he'll need a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely stretch his legs and enjoy some playtime. We recommend children 12 and older, simply because of his size and exuberant personality. We're not yet sure how Gomer feels about cats, so a cat-free home may be the best starting point unless introductions can be carefully managed.What we do know is that Gomer loves dogs, enjoys learning, and has so much love and personality waiting to shine.If you're looking for a big, beautiful, playful, slightly ridiculous best friend who will keep you laughing and fill your home with love, Gomer might just be your guy.
