Snickers (fka Sarabi)

Meet Snickers — you might also see her listed as Sarabi, the name we knew her by before her adoption. She's a hefty, 6-year-old spayed girl with a lot of presence. We had her since she was a kitten until her adoption last year, and now she's back with us, currently staying in a loving foster home while she waits for her next family (weighed in around 15 pounds at her last adoption).Snickers isn't a lap cat, but she likes to be near her people — she'd rather curl up beside you or share the room than climb into your lap. Her foster mom says she'll stretch out right next to her on the couch, or claim the foot rest the second it's up.She's got a playful side too, especially when there's a bug to hunt down around the house, and she's settled in well with the puppy in her foster home — these days the two of them chase each other around. She was also comfortable being around dogs during her time at the rescue.Other cats are a bit more of a mixed bag for her. She got along fine with most of the cats here at the rescue, though she wasn't especially friendly with all of them, and there were a few she just didn't care for. Her previous owner tried introducing another cat, and Snickers wasn't open to it — though that introduction didn't get much of a chance before it was called off. With some patience and a cat willing to give her space, she may still do okay in a multi-cat home.She's easy to please on the small stuff. Any litter works for her, though her foster mom has found she seems to prefer clumping sand since it's gentler on her paws. She's currently eating 4Health grain-free, and she's a nibbler who grazes through her food rather than eating it all in one go.If you're looking for a substantial, steady girl who wants company without needing constant attention, Snickers would love to meet you.
