Looking for a new best friend… someone who won’t give up on me? Hi… my name is Red. I don’t really know what it feels like to have a forever home yet. I came from a place with over 200 dogs. Food wasn’t something you were given—it was something you had to fight for. I remember one bag being dumped on the floor, and all of us scrambling, hoping we’d get enough. Life was loud, chaotic, and honestly… really hard. I may not be the most handsome dog you’ve ever seen, but I promise you—I love with my whole heart. I love big. The kind of love where I’ll follow you from room to room just to be close. The kind where bedtime, curled up next to you, feels like the safest and happiest place in the world. What I dream about is simple… a home where I’m not alone all the time. Someone who’s there—maybe you work from home, or you’re retired, or you’re a stay-at-home parent. I just want to be near my person. I love kids. I love other pets. I’m already housebroken (I’m really proud of that!). I’m still learning how to walk nicely on a leash, but I’m trying my best. Truthfully, I’m not much of an athlete anyway—I’d much rather go for a car ride or just relax with you. I’m okay in a crate when you have to leave, but what I really want… is to finally belong somewhere. I’ve been through a lot. But I still believe there’s someone out there who will see me, choose me, and love me the way I’ve always deserved. Could that be you?
