Louie came to Little Paws as an owner surrender when his previous owner could no longer devote enough time to him due to their schedule. He is an incredibly affectionate boy who loves to give kisses, get the zoomies, and make sure he is touching you at all times. Environment Louie has a medium energy level, enjoying short walks or playtime, and is great on a leash. He will be adopted with Fritz who requires a secure fenced yard due to a high prey drive and flight risk. He considers his crate to be his happy place and is very content when left to his own devices. He is not too noisy and doesn’t bark much. While he is potty trained, he is a bit of a shy pooper and may try to hide or go in the house if he isn't being watched closely outside. Pets & People Louie is very bonded with his brother Fritz. He is exceptionally sweet with his foster family and during transport, though he hasn't been tested with strangers yet. He loves attention and will playfully nip when he gets super excited, sometimes giving a drive-by foot lick. He is highly food motivated and can eat quickly, occasionally trying to push Fritz away from his food, so he requires supervision and guidance during mealtimes. Health & Special Needs Louie's foster noted that he is a bit bowlegged but it doesn’t seem to cause any issues. He lays down and is very relaxed during car rides.
