Meet Amanda!  Amanda is about 6 months old, 25 pounds, and just a really happy, sweet puppy. She’s friendly, affectionate, eager to please and she absolutely LOVES other dogs. Give this girl another dog to play with and she’s in her glory! Amanda was found in Puerto Rico with her mom and five siblings. Her poor mama was doing everything she could to take care of her babies, even feeding them in the middle of the road. Thankfully, the entire family was rescued and Amanda’s life looks a whole lot different now. She’s definitely not dwelling on her rough start! She’s too busy playing, making friends and enjoying all the attention she can get. She’s smart, wants to please and really seems to enjoy being around her people. Amanda would love a home with another dog, although it’s not a requirement. She’s just a very social girl and really enjoys having a buddy to play with. She’s still only 6 months old, so of course she has plenty of growing and learning to do. She’s looking for a family who understands all the fun (and occasional craziness ) that comes along with raising a puppy. Amanda had a rough beginning, but that part of her story is over. Now she just needs a family of her own.  Please note: All dogs are rescues, so we often do not know their actual breeds. We use our best educated guess based on what they look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and, unless otherwise stated, all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested (if age appropriate), put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
