Foster location: New London Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Meet Betty — one of our “little old lady” puppies who is anything but old! Betty is a fun little girl with some serious spunk, typical puppy energy, and just a touch of shyness when she first meets you. Give her a little time, though, and her playful, sweet personality comes shining through. ❤️ She looks an awful lot like her sister Ethel, with one notable difference — Betty has a little extra black along her back. That, combined with life in rescue, has earned her quite the collection of nicknames already. Black Betty was an obvious one. I mean… how can you NOT break into song every time you say it? And then there was the first night in her kennel when she left us one solitary . And just like that, Betty Poop was born. Thankfully, Betty is already showing us she's a quick learner. She's still figuring out how to settle into her kennel at night without her siblings nearby, but once she settled in, she had a great night! And this morning? No surprise waiting for us. In fact, her kennel was completely dry! Betty is doing wonderfully with the other dogs in her foster home and thinks the human kiddos are pretty great, too. She's playful, sweet, and ready to learn — basically a fresh slate waiting for someone to show her the ropes. We think Betty could make a wonderful family dog, but she needs a family who understands the breed and everything that comes with it. Puppies like Betty can have energy beyond energy, brains that need something to do, and a loyalty that runs deep. That adorable puppy face eventually grows into a dog who will want to be involved in your life. So if you can set aside the next 15-ish years to dedicate to a wonderful, adorable companion… if you're ready for puppy antics, training, exercise, laughter, and eventually a fiercely loyal best friend… Then maybe this little “old lady” is exactly who you've been waiting for. ❤️ Betty is ready to retire from being an old lady and start her new life as YOUR best friend. Apply today — Betty may already have your name on her application. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.
