LOCATED IN PUEBLOMeet Maple! A bundle of soft long gray hair, just a vit darker than her sister Acorn. She is the calmer, gentler one of the bunch. She can be a little reserved at first, but give her a moment and she warms up quickly. She’s definitely a lover, not a fighter and would much rather avoid her siblings’ wrestling matches than join the chaos. But when it’s time to settle down? Maple is first in line for the cuddle pile!Sweet, gentle, and affectionate, Maple is happiest snuggled up somewhere cozy with her siblings, and believe will be a lap cuddler, one day. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
