Name:   JULIETA         Best Guess for Breed:   Poodle Mix  Best Guess for Age:   1 year 5 months as of Sept 2026          SEX:    Female   Approximate Weight:  14.1 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! And Julieta has also lived with kids! We haven’t seen her with cats but we we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   PR Foster Home. Looking for DC area foster home or forever home!!   Special adoption considerations:  Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Julieta would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. Julieta is Looking For: An active family ready for plenty of fun! This playful girl has lots of energy and loves having things to do. Whether she’s playing with her people, exploring on a sniffy walk or settling down with a good chew toy, Julieta is happiest when her body and brain are kept busy. Her forever family should be prepared to give her daily exercise, interactive play, enrichment activities and plenty of appropriate toys to satisfy her love of chewing. Training classes would also be a wonderful way to help her channel her enthusiasm while showing everyone how smart she is.After a full day of adventures, Julieta would love to curl up knowing she is safe, loved and finally home.
