Meet Bear! Bear is a handsome tri-color mini Aussie Doodle boy, born in April 2025, weighing about 25 pounds. With his beautiful coat, bright personality, and playful spirit, Bear is sure to turn heads wherever he goes — and with regular grooming, he’ll keep looking his absolute best. ✨ Bear came to us from the same loving home as Lilo (golden retriver). His previous owner, a nursing student who cared deeply for both dogs, made the difficult and selfless decision to find families who could provide them with more time, attention, and opportunities to thrive. Like many young dogs, Bear is full of fun, curiosity, and youthful energy. He loves to play and will do best with a family that can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and an outlet for his active mind and body. A yard to run in, walks, adventures, training, or interactive play would all be right up his alley. Bear is friendly with most dogs when introduced properly, and he would especially love a canine sibling in his new home to keep him company when his humans are at work or away from the home. His ideal doggy roommate would have an easygoing personality and a similar playful style so they can become great friends and enjoy their time together. ❤️ Cats are unknown at this time. Bear is still very much a young dog and is learning his manners. He has plenty of puppy energy and is working on remembering that not everyone wants to be greeted with all four paws off the ground! Continued training, consistency, and positive reinforcement will help him become the best version of himself. His prior owner shared that Bear could sometimes be a little shy around certain men, although we have not observed that behavior in our care yet. Overall, Bear has been a happy, friendly, affectionate young dog who loves being part of the action. Bear is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccines, so he is ready to find his new family! Bear would thrive with an active family that appreciates the fun, energy, and companionship of a young dog and is ready to help guide him through this stage of life. In return, they’ll get a loyal, playful, loving companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Bear is officially ready to accept applications for his forever family!
