Meet Lilo! Lilo is a beautiful Golden Retriever girl, born in April 2024, weighing about 75 lbs. She’s a little more “fluffy” than she needs to be right now and would benefit from losing about 10–15 pounds, but she’s otherwise a true gem. ✨ Lilo is the kind of dog people hope to find. She is sweet, affectionate, friendly with everyone, great with other dogs and wonderful with kids. She’s house trained, loves being with her people, and has an easygoing personality that makes her an incredible family dog. Her mom is a nursing student who absolutely loves Lilo and has taken wonderful care of her. As much as it hurts, she made the incredibly difficult decision to find Lilo a new family who can give her more time, attention, and room to enjoy life. This is not a dog who was unwanted — quite the opposite. Lilo is very loved, and her mom wants what is best for her. Lilo would thrive in a home with some room to run and play and a family who wants a loving, loyal companion to be part of their everyday life. She enjoys people, companionship and, like most Goldens, being included in whatever her family is doing. We haven’t had the opportunity to see Lilo around cats yet, but given her friendly, gentle nature, she may do just fine with them. Lilo is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date with all vaccinations, and ready to find her new family. If you’re looking for a wonderful family dog who is affectionate, social, house trained and just an all-around sweetheart, Lilo may be your girl. ❤️  Lilo is looking for her forever home — one where she’ll be loved, included and given plenty of time and space to be the happy Golden she was meant to be.
