Description

LOCATED IN PUEBLOMeet Maize! He belongs to the Autumnal Bunch. He has a fluffy white coat with soft gray markings, mostly on the top of his head, including an adorable little gray streak down his forehead, a tiny pink nose, and beautiful blue-gray eyes. It’s still a little early to tell, but it looks like he just might keep those gorgeous blue eyes!Maize is a playful, curious explorer who can turn absolutely anything into a toy. If it rolls, crinkles, dangles—or is simply within paw’s reach—he’ll find a way to play with it. With his fluffy coat, sweet expression, and playful personality, Maize is an adorable mix of innocence and mischief. He’s looking for a forever family ready to enjoy all the fun, curiosity, and cuddles that come with this special little guy. He should be ready around early October. Have any questions or want more pics? Email Maryalicia.verdecchia@gmail.com.I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by early October.*You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
