Jake is a 1 year old male Australian Cattle Dog mix, and is even more handsome in person … plus who can resist his adorable ears that go in all directions?! Jake is a sweet friendly boy, and absolutely LOVES being with people. He recently attended an adoption event, and did so well as he made new friends … both human and canine. He politely greeted people of all ages, happily meeting everyone who stopped to visit with him. He also did great meeting other dogs, including an especially adorable moment caught on our “Kiss Cam,” when Jake and Lola greeted each other with the sweetest puppy kisses … so cute! When Jake isn’t busy making friends, he enjoys time exploring in the park at the shelter, as well as chasing a toy to get in a good run. But more than anything, this handsome boy is ready for the best adventure of all - finding his forever family and heading home with them. Come meet Jake soon and see for yourself what makes this lovable, good-looking boy so special!   The adoption fee covers the spay/neuter surgery, a 1-year rabies shot, an fvrcp shot (feline distemper/upper respiratory vaccine), test for feline aids and leukemia, deworming, and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm.
