Meet Logan ❤️ Logan is a handsome 1-year-old purebred, neutered, Doberman who is ready to trade his shelter days for the good life he deserves. This young guy found himself in a shelter, but thankfully, his story didn’t end there. United Doberman Rescue stepped in, and now Logan is looking forward to finding his forever family. One of Logan’s favorite things in the whole world? OTHER FEMALE DOGS! He genuinely enjoys canine company and loves having a four-legged friend around to play, romp, and share life with. His playful personality is still very much that of a young Doberman, so his forever family should be ready for the energy, enthusiasm, and occasional “I have absolutely no idea what my legs are doing” moments that come with a young Dober-boy. At just one year old, Logan is still growing into himself. He will need continued training, structure, exercise, and guidance to help him become the confident, well-mannered adult Doberman he is meant to be. He would thrive with an active family who understands that young Dobermans are not decorative furniture. They need things to do, places to go, and humans willing to help them learn how to be excellent members of the household. Logan also need extra groceries on his skinny Doberman body! Adoption Requirements and UDR policies: • A securely fenced yard is preferred. • An active household that can provide daily exercise, training, mental stimulation, and plenty of family time. • Another compatible female dog in the home would be a wonderful bonus, since Logan genuinely enjoys canine companionship. • Adopters should understand the Doberman breed and be prepared for the energy, intelligence, sensitivity, and Velcro tendencies that come with it. • Continued obedience training and positive reinforcement are expected as Logan grows into adulthood. • Logan must be an indoor family dog. Dobermans belong with their people, not living outside in the backyard. • All current pets must be up to date on veterinary care and appropriate preventatives. • A home visit and veterinary reference check are required before adoption. • Logan must be adopted within the United States. UDR does not ship or transport dogs internationally. • Adoption is not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to find the home that is the best fit for Logan and the family adopting him. Logan may have started his journey in a shelter, but his future can be so much bigger. His bags are packed. His Doberman heart is ready. Now he just needs his people.
